On February 1, we are opening a new exhibition that takes you through the fascinating history of Voksenåsen from 1960 to the present day.

To mark its 65th anniversary, Voksenåsen is opening a new permanent exhibition that documents the site’s unique history as a national gift from the Swedish people to the Norwegian people.

The exhibition is based on historical photographs, personal accounts, and archival documents, and offers visitors a unique insight into the dramatic events of World War II that laid the foundation for Voksenåsen.

Among other things, you will see: – Original photographs from the inauguration in 1960 – Letters and documents from Swedish and Norwegian authorities – Personal stories from refugees who received assistance in Sweden

The exhibition is free and open to all visitors.
