About the Cultural Center

Voksenåsen Cultural Center is a Swedish-Norwegian hub for community life, language, and culture—with human connection at its heart. Here, learning communities are fostered where young people, in particular, come together across borders, experiences, and perspectives.

We believe that everyone has something to learn—and something to teach. Through music, dialogue, collaboration, and reflection, we create spaces where democratic skills, creativity, and civic engagement can flourish.

Drawing on the unique energy of the location, Voksenåsen creates high-quality gatherings—open spaces for reflection, inspiration, and new paths forward.
