Speed and excitement with sledding
A trip in the toboggan run is an easy and fun way to enjoy the snow and beautiful winter days in Oslo. There are many tobogganing opportunities in the city, and the very longest toboggan run, Korketrekkeren, can be found not far from Voksenåsen, only a few subway stops away.
Korketrekkeren
Experience speed and excitement as you fly down Korketrekkeren, Oslo’s most popular and longest toboggan run. This is 2,000 meters long and go all the way from Frognerseteren station down to Midtstuen station with a drop height of 255 metres. Fo those who don’t have your own sledge, you can hire one here. This is fun for both kids and adults.
You can sled down as many times as you want, just take the subway from Midtstuen station up to Frognerseteren again when you reach the bottom of the toboggan run.
Sledding at Voksenåsen
You can also take both kids and adults with you and go sledding right outside Voksenåsen. Just outside the hotel, there are several nice slopes that are perfect for sledding. Challenge a friend or family member to a sledding competition and end the fun with a beautiful view of Oslo and a hot cup of cocoa.
Are you missing something to sled on? Then you can rent equipment from both Skimore Oslo and Akeforeningen.
