From May through September, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in our 14-meter outdoor pool. Sun loungers are also available here, where you can soak up the sun between swims or simply relax while the kids play in the water. It is also possible to have food and drinks served to the pool area upon request. The pool is open to all our guests, but can also be used by other visitors with the purchase of a single-entry ticket or a punch card.

The price of a single ticket is NOK 50 for children and NOK 120 for adults.

After a long, cold winter day, a day filled with meetings, or after a swim in the pool, it can be wonderful to step into a warm, cozy sauna. At Voksenåsen, you’ll find a newly renovated sauna with separate changing rooms for both women and men. In the changing room, we also have large, soft towels available for use. Food and drinks can be served in the sauna if desired.

The sauna is open from 3:00 p.m. every day, or upon request.

If you’d like to get in a good workout or two during your stay, feel free to use our fitness center. Here you’ll find a bright and pleasant space equipped with treadmills, exercise bikes, free weights, and a barbell. The fitness center was renovated in 2022 and features a wide variety of equipment.

Please note that the gym does not have its own changing rooms, but you can change and shower in your own room or in the changing rooms located next to our sauna.

For those of you planning to hit the groomed ski trails in the woods, we have a ski storage room available. Here you can wax your skis, and you can also safely store your skis, sleds, and toboggans during your stay.

At Voksenåsen, you’ll also find a library housing a unique collection of books related to the Voksenåsen National Gift and its origins. The library is an intimate space often used as a private room for small groups. It offers views of the city and is located right next to the lounge, with direct access to the terrace for those who wish to sit outside.

The lounge offers a stunning view of Oslo in a peaceful setting, with access to a beautiful terrace. The lounge is the heart of the house, where you can enjoy a glass of wine from the bar or a full dinner, either indoors or outdoors in the sunshine. The lounge can also be used for events and intimate concerts.

Right from the living room, you can step out onto the terrace, which boasts “Sweden’s best view.” This is the perfect spot to find some peace and quiet and enjoy the view—perhaps with a drink in hand, a good book, or a delicious dinner. Or maybe you’d like to cozy up with a hot cup of cocoa and freshly baked buns after a long day on the slopes? We have both blankets and lanterns, so you can enjoy the terrace and the view all year round, day or night.

Adjacent to the reception area is our bar, which offers a full range of services. Here, we serve our own beer, coffee, homemade organic ice cream, and takeout. Our lobby shop is also located here, where we offer a selection of high-quality Swedish products such as Fjällräven and Maria Åkerberg.
