The Norwegian Soloist Prize is a Norwegian music award established in 2005 thanks to a donation from businessman Bernt J. Fossum. The prize was created to “support young musicians and help Norwegian concert organizers and orchestras become acquainted with talented young Norwegian soloists.” In even-numbered years, the prize is awarded to a performer under the age of 20 during the Bergen International Festival. In odd-numbered years, the winner is selected from among nominated performers under the age of 30. The winner receives 100,000 kroner. The prize has been administered by Voksenåsen since 2022.
